There were some amazing ice patterns on the window one winter morning. I had to work fast since the opening of my inner window caused the frost to slowly melt while I was shooting with a macro lens.
Since I wasn't able to rent a car in Lochmaddy on North Uist, Scotland, my hotel owner was nice enough to take me for a drive around. We went to an out-of-the-way beach on the west coast to catch the sunset. As usual, while taking wide angle landscape shots, it's always good to take a break and remember to look for close-up detail shots.
Patterns reflected in the water of Brereton Lake in the Whiteshell Park of Manitoba, Canada. This was not converted to black and white; it was a gray overcast day.
