An apartment building in Winnipeg, Canada. I would have liked to do a long exposure to get streaking clouds in the sky but I was trying to be quick as I hadn't asked to be there.
This is a shot of the interior walkways of the Canadian Museum of Human Rights in Winnipeg, Canada. I spent a lot of time waiting for shots with no people in them but it was impossible. But in the end, I ended up liking this shot with a few people in it and thought that a black and white treatment would present it best. This photo was featured as a finalist in Photolife Magazine's Architecture photo contest.
Saw this staircase online, found a contact name, was allowed to photograph for 10 minutes, so I had to work fast! Turned out I had about 45 minutes as the contact person didn't kick me out. I didn't notice or think about moving the black mat at the bottom, but I probably shouldn't have started messing around with things when they were nice enough to let me in to shoot.
