This was another tour group that passed us while travelling from Chile to Bolivia to reach the Salar de Uyuni. The scenery was great the entire way.
Innischonnel Castle on an island in Loch Awe in the west of Scotland. Also known as Ardchonnel, it's an amazing ruin. I've been here twice to photograph it but I've never actually organized a trip to get inside. Maybe one day...
Matsumoto Castle in Matsumoto, Japan. This is one of only 12 original castles in Japan that have survived to the present day, and it's one of only three "black castles". This is a nice town to visit, pretty peaceful and close to a mountainous area. There's a woodblock print (often called "ukiyo-e") museum nearby, and also a wasabi farm that can be visited.
