I've been back to the East side of Lake Winnipeg about seven times now trying to get the shot I'm envisioning of a backlit wave. I still don't have the shot I want, but I was happy with this one. I like the gap in the wave on the left which lets us see the sun. I will be going back when the forecast is calling for strong winds.
This was a beautiful abandoned house that I passed somewhere in Saskatchewan on the way to the Rocky Mountains in Alberta. The sun broke through the clouds a bit and lit up the golden wheat in the foreground.
This was a small set of rapids on the way to a much larger waterfall near the Cabot Trail, Nova Scotia. Another challenging depth of field situation; I tried my best to find the hyperfocal distance. I took some shots for a focus stack but haven't tried putting it together yet. Leaves were shot as found. The trail to get to the larger waterfall was actually one of the more enjoyable trails I've walked in a long time.
