This was taken somewhere along the Ring Road in Iceland. If you are into waterfalls then Iceland is the place to be; there are hundreds of them. Not to mention all the otherworldly scenery that has made this country very popular with photographers; black sand beaches, puffins, ice caves, northern lights, etc.
If you look closely you can see a person in a red jacket standing in front of the falls for scale. This is Dynjandi waterfall in the far northwest corner of Iceland. This is one of my favourite waterfalls. It is enormous and you can walk right up to it due to the cascades slowing the water during its decent. There are a large number of smaller waterfalls in the area as you walk down the hill.
A shot of Aldeyjarfoss in Iceland. If you like waterfalls or landscapes you owe it to yourself to take a trip out to Iceland, it's an amazing place. But be prepared for high prices.
