This isn't actually black and white, it was just an overcast day. I was on a dock on Brereton Lake in the Whiteshell taking abstract shots of the black line in the water when I saw this water beetle speeding across the surface.

I've been back to the East side of Lake Winnipeg about seven times now trying to get the shot I'm envisioning of a backlit wave. I still don't have the shot I want, but I was happy with this one as a black and white shot.
