This is the lower level of the Manitoba Legislative Building in Winnipeg, Canada. As the title suggests, this room is called the Pool of the Black Star. If you stand on the star you can look all the way up to the dome of the upper level.
This is a very interesting building at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Canada. It has platforms going up the center of the building with staircases connecting to the platforms from the sides. some of the most unique architecture I've ever seen.
