This is St. Patrick's Cathedral in Manhattan, New York. I was able to get a couple shots with a tripod before security made me go handheld, but at least I got a few at a low ISO and sharp aperture so that this will make a nice clean large print.
This shot was taken after sunset at Sunwapta Falls, on the Icefields highway, from Banff to Jasper, Alberta. There was a bad storm while I was driving along the highway, one of the most nerve racking drives of my life; slippery roads, poor visibility, and any visibility involved catching glimpses of sheer drops from the mountain road. I passed a sign on the road, facing the other direction, when I was nearing Jasper; I looked back and it said the road was closed due to a blizzard!
This is a hidden gem right next to where I live in Ottawa, Canada. While walking in the neighbourhood I saw a sign for labyrinth walks in this little church. I went in to see what they were talking about and I saw this huge maze underneath the church pews. They do labyrinth walks once a month and I got permission to take some photos before the participants arrived. I was trying out my new Voigtlander 12mm lens for the first time and I was glad I had it to fit everything in.
