A view of the Grand Canal from the Ponte dell'Accademia during the blue hour. It was hard to get a long exposure here due to the bridge being a bit bouncy and tourists shaking it by coming and going.
An abstract image from the annual International Fireworks Competition that takes place in Gatineau, Quebec. After the first few go off the air starts to fill with smoke, so wide angle shots don't look as nice. It's at that point that I use my telephoto lens to do some close up shots. I've started playing with zooming and/or moving the camera to get some creative effects.
