While driving to the next stop on my Saskatchewan road trip, I saw this field of rolling hills and hay bales. Even though the light wasn't dramatic, I shot a stitched panorama to convey the feeling of sheer space.
This was one of the large trees I found on a short trail that went behind a temple in Takachiho, Japan.
This is a waterfall that's right at the beginning of the hike through Shiratani Unsuikyo, a famous hike through an ancient forest on Yakushima Island. This was probably the most amazing hike I've ever done. You pass giant trees that are thousands of years old, waterfalls, and you even walk through trees in a couple places. This is where the "moss forest" is, made famous in the movie Princess Mononoke.
