Colour

The main goal of this trip was to see Quebec City and also Percé rock, and take fall photos along the way. I didn't have much luck with weather (it rained 3/5 days in QC City) and didn't really get the epic autumn shot that has been eluding me for years (high viewpoint, rolling forests of red/orange, nice light) but I had one ok morning with interesting fog. Also note that lots of places close on the Gaspé peninsula in October, which is strange because I would think that fall foliage season would be good for business. I missed the Saguenay Fjord area since I didn't quite have time (although I would have if I had known that Mauricie park was closed, the bastards) and I apparently missed the best year for whale watching in decades. I didn't focus on food too much as I didn't want to dine in anywhere due to covid. But overall I had some good postries, tried some new wines and coffees, and had a good time overall.
