Cambodia
I was in Cambodia for about ten days. My friend Paul (from Winnipeg) and I had an interesting time coming into Cambodia; border issues, river crossings, and karaoke. But the food was great (and cheap), the people were really nice, and the kids were so cute you wanted to take them all home with you. The prostitutes weren't as plentiful as in Thailand but it is still an issue. They're slowly recovering from the genocide of the late 1970's but if everyone is like Lan (our favourite tuk-tuk driver) then I have high hopes for the country. A great guy and we are glad we got to meet him and hang out with him over a few beers. And of course, they have the temples of Angkor which are something that everyone should see before they die.
