Morocco
Morocco was about two and a half weeks and this is where I ended up having the most travel companions; Australians, New Zealanders, and Rachel. When I left Morocco I was happy to go but when I look back on it there was a lot of great things that I saw. The things that made me happy to leave: The shop owners/hecklers, scam artists, food diseases, and the feeling that the country was basically a store for shopping. The stuff that I was happy that I saw: The Atlas mountains, the Merzouga sand dunes, the mud built town of Ait Bennadou, and all the old towns/markets (medinas) of the cities. The medina in Marrakesh has a lot of atmosphere, the one in Fez is huge with thousands of narrow alleyways, and the one in Chefchaouen is blue (the ground, the buildings, the doors, everything is painted blue).
