An infrared photo of Himeji Castle in Japan. It's one of only 12 surviving original castles in Japan and is a world wonder in my opinion. If you are in Japan DO NOT miss seeing this castle.
This was taken outside of a museum in Montreal, Canada. I saw these snow covered tables from inside and went to take some photos after I was finished looking around the museum. This was a bit of a trial because it was getting dark, so I had to use a tripod, the snow was really deep (going into my boots), and it was about -30 Celsius. My hands got pretty frozen but it was such a unique scene that I feel it was worth it.
I hate the cold, so during the winter I stay inside a lot but I still want to take some photos. I used a macro lens and some extension tubes to get really close to the centre of this flower.
