This is part of the set of cascades known as Hogg's Back Falls in Ottawa, Canada. They are very accessible, being within the city limits and a short walk from the parking lot. There are lots of photographic opportunities here, and I liked this little group of ducks hanging out at the top.
An infrared photo of Himeji Castle in Japan. It's one of only 12 surviving original castles in Japan and is a world wonder in my opinion. If you are in Japan DO NOT miss seeing this castle.
This was taken outside of a museum in Montreal, Canada. I saw these snow covered tables from inside and went to take some photos after I was finished looking around the museum. This was a bit of a trial because it was getting dark, so I had to use a tripod, the snow was really deep (going into my boots), and it was about -30 Celsius. My hands got pretty frozen but it was such a unique scene that I feel it was worth it.
