This is Oak Alley Plantation in Louisiana. It's a strange feeling trying to photograph there because the trees are so beautiful but the history is so ugly. As always, I find shooting trees in infrared is my preference.
The Carbide Willson Mill ruins in Gatineau Park, Quebec, just north of Ottawa. This is a special place as it's a remote ruin in the forest with a little arched bridge over a thundering waterfall.
